The main thing that determines the best style of kitchen will be based on the size you have to work with. More people are opting for open plan nowadays so that they can choose any kitchen layout with the additional floor space, many opting to do away with the traditional dining table in favour of a breakfast bar. If you take a look at our website you will see photos and drawings of the kitchen layouts to choose from.

The question of the best design for a large Kitchen is much the same as the best design for any Kitchen. Much depends on taste, budget, design constraints within the building and practicality. If you intend to stay in the property for sometime then design a kitchen that works for you best, if the intention is to sell the property then the design has to appeal to potential buyers with as much wow factor as you can. Most suppliers offer free design services, make the best of this and get the views of several planners before you decide.

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer for this. There are different factors for different people. Budget, personal preference, is it to be a show kitchen or a personal kitchen. It very much depends on the customer. A designer should always listen to what the customers wants, then advise what they think could be achieved with their ideas and budget. Craig Cashmore. MDHI.

There is no best layout for a kitchen, every house is different, every customer is different, every customers needs and expectations are different. In my 22 years experience we’ve never come up against a property or a layout that we’ve not been able to make a kitchen fit around to suit the customers needs.

I think it all comes down to customer preferences. Large or small, the dudget will determine what can be achieved. Placement of appliances is key, ergonomically speaking. I would say have as much worktop area as possible. An island with storage underneath is ideal in a large kitchen.

Think it’s down to customer to think how are they going to use the space I’d recommend integrated appliances and possibly magic corners to use the space in cupboards as best possible do they need more units ... tall larder or add more worktop space you could add an island if possible to add more space and worktop with breakfast seating available

This all depends on what your needs are within your kitchen. I personally would have as much worktop space as possible and possibly an island housing my hob. Larder units are a great idea for mass storage and to house your oven and fridge freezer. I would also have all intergrated appliances.
